Update..

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for your kind wishes and healing vibes! Mom is overwhelmed by the amount of well-wishes she got from all around the world =) And the healing vibes worked! Mom doesn't need surgery, but she will have to be in a cast until September before she goes for another follow up then. We're hoping she will be fully recovered by then...*crosses paws*

At her last visit, Mom took some photos of her x-rays from the doctor's computer. Apparently, everything is digitalized at the hospital she went to; even x-rays don't need the films anymore!

This was on the day when she broke her arm, before the cast was put on...Mom said the x-ray on the right caused her more pain than when she actually fell and broke the arm. OUCH! I felt like giving the people who did that to Mom a big bite on THEIR arm, but it seems that it was necessary at the time for the doctors to assess the extent of the injury...=\

And this was taken after the cast (or the more proper term the U Slab) was put on. The doctor told Mom that the bones have aligned very well, so we're hoping that this will stay like that until it's healed properly!

Well, that's about it from me...I've been reading your blogs, but with Mom's condition, she can't type that much. I'll try to get her to help me post some comments real soon though since she's feeling much better these days! Till then..

xoxo,
Scottie

Glad the bones are aligned. We hope your mom heals quickly. And tell her not to worry about typing on anyone else's blog until her arm heals. Jan recently spent 3 days with a long splinter under a fingernail, which made her personal typing slow, painful and very messy. And Percy had Phantom Sympathy Paw pain so he can tell you, one pawed typing is the pits.

Hi, Scottie -

We are a little behind in blogging. Mama started another class and we went to New Hampshire to see Kaci and Grammy.

We are sooooooo sorry to read that your Mom broke her arm but glad that she won't need surgery. Here are some healing vibes from us.

Happy to see that your mommy is recovering. I'm sure you're taking very good care of her.

When our mommy is sick we try not to leave her side; especially since she lays there with treats hehehe

Belly rubs to you and our mommy wishes yours a speedy recovery!

Get well soon I love Scotty's name - not scotty, very clever. I've got standard schnauzers and I've had to explain, so many times that they are schnauzers, not scotty dogs!

Scotty looks like a fantastic little dog!

Wow!! Those X-ray pictures are amazing! That arm really has to hurt. Ouch!! Your poor mom. She must have gone through a very difficult time. My mom knows all about broken arms. She had two at the same time back when she was a kid.

Wishing your mom the best of luck with her recovery.

Love and Koobuss Kisses,
Koobie
