We call it "dancing" When I was learning, my trainer suggested that dad get me to stand on my back legs and then HE moved around me while holding the treat; that way I kept turning to follow the treat. Eventually he just moved his hand around in a circle. Now I do it just on the command "Dance". My experience from dog class is that little dogs seem like this comes naturally to them...the littler the dog the more they can spin like a top!
