A Special Visit...

Our hearts are still very sad for Bogart and his family...please go to his blog if you haven't already to spread some love, prayer and support as they go through this very tough time.

**********************************************************

Yet another back dated post...=) Better late than never right? A few days after we got back from Ruby's Resort, we got some very cool news:

Can you tell who this is? I'm sure you can...=) Colin was here to stay with us for a few days as his parents went off to a family wedding!

Boy, oh boy, he's grown a lot in the past few weeks...his family has been great to him, though we've been told he's becoming a bit naughty. Just like me...heh!

See? He's almost as big as me already...=) Mom says his ears look a bit funny as they keep flapping upwards!

We do almost everything together....*wink*

Kenji didn't want to be in the photos with us...I guess he feels like he's interrupting or something. *shrugs*

Colin was starting to get shaggy when he came over....his Mom said she will be bringing him for a grooming session when she gets back. Wonder how he looks like now?

Me, I'm still chilling, and enjoying the play times with him...=)

Kenji got googly-eyed with envy when he sees us together...

...like so. =)

And then, Colin took over the sofa as well...LOL!

We sure had quite a bit of fun the whole time he was around...=) Hopefully I'll get more updates soon from his Mom; he's growing up so fast it's like, blink and we'll miss it! =)

Scottie

P/S: I got to go to a friend's barkday party last week too...will tell you about that in my next post!

A CNY Doggie Gathering

Hello everyone!

I guess I have been lagging in my posting and visiting yet again. =( I hope everyone had a great weekend and Valentine's Day! Thanks to all the doggies who sent me a Valentine's Card! I wish I had been hardworking enough to make one too, but meh...with Mom being all 'busy' and stuff...*pouts* I have LOADS to blog about, but I think I should start with a LONG overdue one...hehe!

About two weeks ago, there was a CNY doggie gathering that Mom, Colin and I attended...it was quite cool meeting so many new friends all at one go! We were late though coz my training session ended later than we thought, and some pups already left, but there were still some PAWSOME doggies there! Here are the photos of the event:

Me first meeting some cool pups...notice the little 'train of scents' going around? *wink*

I liked this dude so much I gave him a big slobbery, gentle-doggie kiss *grins*

There were quite a number of Schnauzer pups too! It was pawsome to see so many of my kind in one day...hehe!

Here are some individual photos of the many cute, lovable & ADORABLE doggies at the gathering:

Everyone had fun chatting and getting to know each other...*grins* The Moms and Dads also got to carry and give free hugs to us doggies! Here they are (except Mom of course...she was busy taking the photos...heh!):

Colin had a lot of fun too...it was his first time out where we're not in a house! He was so bubbly!

He has since went back to his new home though...and his Mom told us he's been quite a good boy, except for the first few days where he was not familiar with his new home. =) Doesn't he look cute here?!

He's so cute posing for the camera, I HAD to give him a big kiss too...

...and no, I did not forget to pose for some photos as well. *grins*

See? Father and son photo...

That's about it for now...I got an AWARD! YAYY! And I've been to the most PAWSOMEST place EVER during the past weekend...can't wait to tell you more about it! Until then..

Fashionable 'dos and clothes!

Hello everyone!

I had a blast last weekend, coz it was a public holiday on Monday, which means Mom got more time to play with us! *grins* I hope you had a great weekend too!

I've been WAYYY behind posting updates and catching up with you all again...*sheepish grin* It's the holidays, I tells ya! Too many of them this month...*wink* Anyhoot, let me start by saying I got my way past due fur cut from the groomers!

See the difference? Hehe...Mom loves my new 'do this time coz Gramma asked the groomers to make me more 'manly' as opposed to the 'boy-ish' cuts I got last time. (Click on the image to see a bigger and clearer picture!)

The main difference from my boyish looks was my beard...the groomer has allowed it to grow a bit (but trimmed off the front bits that were extra brown so that I look neater).

***************************************************************************************

Kenji got a new outfit last week! Aunty Vivian found something that is - according to her - SOOO going to look cute on Kenji (though, I have another idea on what HE would think! *wink*). Guess what it is?

Can you tell just yet?

Perhaps this will give you a better picture...LOL! It's a little Tigger outfit (as in Winnie-the-Pooh Tigger?)! Look at his pure disgruntled face! He made faces and growled at us when we tried to tease him...*grins*

Here he is one more time, trying to recover with a determined but resigned face...poor Kenji! LOL! Oh well...at least he didn't have to wear a diaper, no? *cringes*

Mom had so much fun with all the funny outfits, she dug out some of my clothes back when I was a pup, and tried it on Colin...*grins* And guess what? They fit quite perfectly!

To compare, here's a photo of him and me when I was a wee pup! hehe! We look quite alike, don't we? *wink* (Click on the image to see a bigger one)

Here's the baseball jersey outfit that Mom LOVED so much....*grins* She still loves it, but too bad, it's too small for me. Colin's size was perfect though!

More photos of Colin hamming it up for the camera:

Here's another one from my pup days? Remember the Prince outfit? Does Colin look cuter, or me?! *grins* (click on the image to view a bigger one)

Colin obviously thinks HE's cuter...

Here's another outfit of mine...it's a pair of overalls! I think is so cool to wear over the umm...'undies'. Too bad, I've outgrown it so much...wonder if they have any of those in my size now! *grins*

Colin showing off the perfect fit...=)

To round it all up, we posed together on the steps...

I think this would make quite a great family 'potrait', don't you think? Sadly, Mom's hands were a tad bit shaky, hence the blurry 'effect'.

One more piece of great news: Colin has found his new home! *grins* We are so happy for him and his new Mom...they will be keeping in touch with us quite often too, so watch out for more news on Colin!

My Chinese New Year week

Hello everyone!

Sorry for being silent...yet again! I can't believe I only blogged TWO miserable posts for the whole month of January! *pouts* Mom needs some serious talking to, I say! I haven't been able to visit many of my pals' bloggies too...I do hope her big assignment gets done real quick, coz it's bugging me BIG TIME!

Anyways, Happy Chinese New Year (CNY) to all my friends who are celebrating it! Celebrations last for 15 days in the Chinese calendar, according to Gramma, so it's not too late just yet...heh! *wink* We went back to Gramma and Grampa's hometown in Seremban for the reunion dinner, which is actually just about an hour's drive from our home...but it was quite eventful to say the least! Be prepared for a LONG post...*grins* I'm making up for the many days of silence...hehe!

We reached in the late afternoon at Gramma's Mom's house....'scuse the shaggy look. Mom didn't have time to send me to the groomers yet.

I hope you haven't forgotten how I looked like...*wink*

We brought Colin back too...he was SOOO excited to be in a car, travelling and all, he's like this bumbling ball of energy!

Kenji however, didn't fare too well...he had a bit of motion sickness and after that, he fell under the weather the whole time we were there. =( Poor Kenji! But he's feeling better now...

Well, the first few hours all we did was laze around as all the relatives start coming in and arranging the table for the dinner...Mom didn't get to spend much time with us too coz she was helping out a little.

One of Mom's uncles brought along this shisha (or better known as the hookah) to pass the time...Mom doesn't smoke, but she likes the design of the shisha pipe. It looks kind of pretty, don't you think? (Except for the fact that it's still smoking!)

Here's what they use for the pipe...coal, and tobacco. Check out the strawberry-flavoured tobacco on the left. It really does emit a strawberry flavour when smoked. Weird!

After setting up, they waited for the rest of the relatives to arrive, so Mom took the opportunity to let Colin be a model for a while! Hehe...he's VERY obliging! *wink*:

They're STILL waiting after all that, and I got bored, so Mom and aunty Vivian took me for a walk around the neighbourhood...and guess what I spotted?

Chickens!! Live chickens at that too...cool!

I followed them around for a while, but Mom made me keep a safe distance...she didn't want me to hurt them and vice versa. Pfft! Why would I hurt a chicken?

Tired of all the chicken talk, aunty Vivian tried to make ME a model too! Don't I look fabulous next to this cool green hedge? *grins*

Finally, the whole family got together and the feasting at the infamous mile-long table begins!

While everyone was busy feasting, enjoying themselves...

...AND the occasional goofing around....

I had to stay outside! *pouts* The feast lasted well into the evening, so it's quite disheartening to hear all the chopsticks clinking against the porcelain bowls and I got nothing =( Oh well...Mom discovered the scary laser eye thingy! LOL! She hasn't been able to take photos of me with the laser eye thingy before even though she saw so many of my friends' photos have them (and was seriously baffled for a while). But I guess she found out the secret: flash!

Look! Even Colin got the scary laser eyes...heh!

A photo of the outside of Gramma's Mom's house...I like the decorations and the lights put up there. They're mostly hand-made by Gramma's Dad. I think they're AWESOME! Can you spot me in this photo? *wink*

The next two days were not that spectacular...more of the same people visiting, handing out red packets (which I didn't get! *pouts*), feasting, chatting, more feasting...you get the picture. Mom didn't have time to take photos coz there were just too many people. o.O" The day we're about to leave though, is another story...

Look at these chickens! Okay, I guess the photo doesn't do them justice, but I have to say...THEY'RE SUPER DUPER HUGEEEEE!!

And super fat too! Gramma said they weigh about 4-5kg each! o.O" That's freaky...they weigh almost as heavy as me!

This is Gramma's Dad...he's super cool! He reared these chickens for the sole purpose of CNY feastings...as you can see, they're almost as big as him!

I got to say hello to them for a bit before they uhh...become dinner. A bit nervous walking and looking at this strange, fat chicken. I've never seen any so up close and personal!

Nearer and nearer...but the next second, it almost bit me! By gosh, it was shocking...and I barked my lungs out at it for a while. Lucky Mom had me on my leash, or I think it would have been a blood bath there...LOL! No photos of THAT encounter...too fast for Mom's slow action camera. =\

Well, that's about it for now...I've got more tales to tell, but this is getting too long. Tune in for the next episode of 'My CNY Week'! *wink* Hope you all had a great CNY celebration too!

Scottie
