Oops...

Looks like I've abandoned my blog for more than a month! >.<" Really, really sorry about that. Thanks to everyone who's been asking about Mom and her arm...she seems to be getting better I think. She tries to use her left hand more with holding light things whenever she can, but she's still in a cast. The last appointment with the doctor didn't go too well, I guess...she was told that her broken bones have not shown any signs of reconnecting yet. =(

The doctor gave her another 3 weeks, by which time they will do another x-ray to see the next course of action. That's going to happen next week, so we're hoping there will be signs of the bones reconnecting then *crosses paws* My goodness, I've neglected the blog so long, my post that was about Ruby's Resort is like SOOOO outdated..LOL! I guess I'll post the nicer photos in a slideshow here =)

Speaking of which...Some of my really cool friends have passed on some really cool awards to me! This is way overdue, so thank you SO, SOOOOO much to Santa for this lovely blog award! *grins*

This next award comes from Pluto, the cool German Shepherd! Thank you SOOO much, Pluto...I'm really honored!

Well, that's about it for now...Mom managed to take some pretty funny photos of me the other day, so I'm getting her to edit them for me real soon so I can show you all what a doofus I looked like to make her laugh. *wink* Till then...

A WAYYYYY Long Overdue Post...

OMG...can't believe it's been so long since I've posted! >.<" This post was scheduled for 15th July to commemorate my first ever blogoversary (YAYYY! I've lasted one year...albeit having many hiatuses over the times..LOL!) and my 100th post (DOUBLE YAYY! I have that many things to talk about! LOL!), but meh...my Mom is super lazy, I tells ya! Anyways, since it's so way overdue, I will combine my posts for this time...*wink* Twinkle has tagged me with a game! And the rules were:

  1. Open the folder that has your pictures in it...
  2. Choose one you haven't posted yet...
  3. Tell it's story...
  4. Tag 5 friends...

So, here goes my photos of the celebration that was for my 100th post and 1st blogoversary!

Mom and Gramma made pizza to celebrate! *drools* These are for the furkids (aka moi, Kenji and Lady)

And this was one of the few that were for the humans...*grins*

Gramma also made some sushi a la Bento style for me and Kenji...here's mine!

And Kenji's...

But like always, we were obliged to pose for the camera before eating...*sigh*

This time around, Kenji wasn't too happy either! LOL!

*fast forward to the eating (we all gobbled up our treats like, lightning fast!)*
.
.
.
.
.

I waited patiently when I spotted something...

The leftovers! o.O" Why in the world would someone waste all that good food?

The culprit...turns out Kenji doesn't like to eat the rice and the pizza crust! He just licked off all the toppings and what not...clever? Or wasteful? It's still good for me though, coz I polished off whatever he left behind, making Mom's clean up easier! *wink*

For dessert, we had little tartlets filled with whipped cream and blueberry or strawberry filling...*licks lips*

Hmmph...same old, same old, no? I think Mom needs to teach me some more new tricks!

So, umm...that's it for this tag. I think most doggies have already done this game, but if you haven't, consider yourself tagged! *wink*

**********************************************************************************

I've also received a TOTALLY cool award by Checkers!! Thank you SOOO much, Checkers! It's a great honour to receive it...*grins* Your blog so totally rocks too! I would like to pass this wonderful award to all my friends whom I've known this past year...it's been such a joy blogging about my life and getting to know friends from all over the world! I hope there are many more years of blogging to come...*crosses paws*

So much overdue posts, but the next one would be quite an updated one, I think...heh! I get to go on a trip! Where? Stay tuned...*wink*

I'm Honest...Really?

Hello everyone!

I'm SLOWLY getting there to visiting all my friends' blogs...I tells ya, if Mom doesn't get a pay raise or something for the things she had to do, she'll be robbed. Especially when she takes MY time away to do her 'work'. Pfft!

I've decided to change my layout again, since it's not really Christmas holidays now (but then again, it's never winter season here now, isn't it?) Still, I like the background colors so I guess I'll be sticking with it for a while...=)

Another long overdue post! LOL! I got this spiffy cool award from Emma & Ebi! Thanks you guys! I am very honored indeed...=)

Rules:-
When accepting this auspicious award, you must write a post bragging about it, including the name of the misguided soul who thinks you deserve such acclaim, and link back to said person so everyone knows he or she is real. Choose a minimum of 7 blogs that you find brilliant in content or design. Or improvise by including bloggers who have no idea who you are because you don’t have 7 friends. Show the 7 random victims’ names and links and leave a harassing comment informing them that they were prized with “Honest Weblog”. Well, there’s no prize, but they can keep the nifty icon. List at least ten honest things about yourself. Then, pass it on!

Right...so, I'm supposed to brag? Errm...how exactly do I do that? Oh well...I think I'll just list down 10 honest things about meself! heh!

  • I love roaching to the max! Every time after my meals I like to take my time roaching on the cool marble floor...=)
  • I'm a Mama's boy (yes, I'm admitting it...it's supposed to be 'honest', right?)
  • I thought I hate the water, but I found out that I could actually SWIM in it! WOOHOO! (more on this in my next post *wink*)
  • I am a little afraid of heights...one time, Mom tried to get me over an agility thingy where we had to climb up a slope-y piece of wood, walk straight and come down (I don't know what's that term) and I just freaked and won't move. She had to literally drag me through that and I vowed never to set foot on it again.
  • I eat absolutely anything and everything...*beams* Really, I do! I've eaten bugs, rabbit doo-doo, even some lizard at one point. Cool eh? *wink*
  • Running is my passion, even though Mom hates it! She let me loose one time and I went running about like a crazy dude! It was such an adrenaline rush and super PAWSOME! (more on that later too...hehe!)
  • I don't like to get my paws dirty, except on 'special' occasions like me rubbing my face with it after meals so I can get to the remnants of meat on my face. heh!
  • Soft and squeaky toys are my weakness...I go crazy over them! *grins*
  • I have a tendency to bark at strange people who come to my house. Even though when Mom welcomes them and they come all nice to pat me, I will bark at them unless they stop moving. After which I will start barking too *grins*
  • And...I hate having my beard wiped down! It's so annoying having to stand or sit still while Mom takes her wet tissues to wipe the beard clean. I honestly can't imagine why! It's not like it's going to get any whiter...and she ALWAYS say that my beard's beyond help, but keeps getting stuff to try out after seeing other doggies' white beards and their owner's recommendations. *rolls eyes*

I don't know who else who hasn't gotten this award yet...it seems like everyone has one already! I guess I'm late in that regard too...=( If you are reading this and haven't gotten it yet, please feel free to grab one and share 10 honest things about yourself! Bragging about it would be a great idea too...*wink*

Some Tobey updates and an award

Hi everyone!

I'm still in the process of catching up with you all...most of the time I'm lurking and reading your posts...will comment real soon, okay? Hehe! I like the word 'lurk'...makes me feel like I'm a stalker of prey. *grins* In a good way, that is...LOL!

Anyways, we've got some updates from Tobey's new owner (or should I call him his Dad? Yeah...I probably should, but then it would kind of confuse me, since I AM his Dad too...=\ ) and Tobey's got a new fur-cut too! His owner is very gracious to let me post Tobey's photos here (and from what I hear, Tobey's getting his own blog too...YAYY! Watch this space! *wink*)! Enjoy:

Introducing....*drum roll* Tobey!

He's a bit camera-shy, me thinks...heh!

This is my favourite photo of him...doesn't he look like a splitting image of me when I was a kid? LOL!

Tobey enjoying his meals...wonder what he's got there!

I've also gotten an award from Latte and Bogart! Thank you SOOOOOOOO much!! It's a great, GREAT honor to be bestowed awards when I've been quite a bad friend these days...thank you once again!!! *grins*

The award states that:
"This blog invests and believes in PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time and relationships!"

In other clearer words, "These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award."

I sure am late in this aspect...and it's SOOOO hard to choose when I've got loads of lovely, dear friends! I think I'm going to break the rules yet again...*wink* If you haven't got this award yet, please do help yourself to this award as a gesture of thanks for coming back to read my blog and sticking with me even when I haven't been there! I really hope things will get back to it's routine real soon...*crosses paws*

Christmas isn't Christmas...

...till it happens in your heart, and you get Christmas cards to boot too! *wink*

Sorry...bad pun. I was trying to quote a line from a Christmas song and it went awry. LOL! I can't believe Christmas is 10 days away! YAYYY! I still can't get Mom to put up a Christmas tree (after much prodding, she said we had a Christmas tree, but it's stashed away somewhere and she doesn't know where to find it!)...pfft! Oh well, like the line, it's all in our hearts no? Plus, I have loads of friends who have beautiful Christmas trees put up for me to admire...hee!

Okay, back to business...I've gotten loads and LOADS of Christmas cards, I've lost count! o.O" This is SOOOO cool! Thank you SOOO much to everyone who has sent me these BEAUTIFUL Christmas cards! I've actually gotten more even as I (or Mom) types this, so we'll keep updating with photos of all the other cards too...*grins*

Our second batch of Christmas cards...look at all those colors! SOOO pretty! And I can't believe Tobey & Colin slept through it all...LOL!

Ooh, ooh! Good news...Tobey has found his furever home! We sure will miss him, but his new owner promised he will take good care of Tobey and keep us updated on his progress, so all is good...*wink* This photo is taken before Tobey went to his new home, of course!

Close up on the cards...they look GORGEOUS, don't they! *grins*

Here's the third batch of cards we got...Mom got Kenji to sit nicely next to me. Hehe!

And another close up....*grins*

Here are the e-cards that I've gotten from my friends so far! Some of them are from doggies whom I don't know yet, but they are so kind to send me a card! We're finding it hard to thank each and every doggie in person, so we're including them here...thank you SOOOO much once again! We will come by and visit your bloggies real soon!

BubbleShare: Share photos - Play some Online Games.

I've also gotten a few awards from my friends too! Thank you all SO, VERY much! It is such an honor!

I got this so very cool (literally!) award from my friends Coco & The Four Musketeers (Lady, Zena, Cody & Joyce)! To be honest, I've been eyeing this award for a long time...and to get it is SOOO pawsome! Thank you!! *grins*

These two awards are also passed on to me by Coco! Thank you again, Coco! Love the pretty colors on them! *grins*

I would love to pass these on to everyone visiting my blog....if you have not received these awards, please do feel free to pick one! I insist, okay? *wink*

It's NEARLY Christmas!

You know it's Christmas season when...

You get Christmas cards in the mail! hehe! I've received a few cards already yesterday...here's one from Amber-Mae and her family! It looks SOOOO pretty, just like them! *grins*

Faya & Dyos sent their love all the way from Switzerland! Thank you so much for the wonderful card!

Here is a card from Simba! He looks so festive in his Christmas attire!

And here's me posing with the cards...it's my first time getting Christmas cards, hence all the fuss. hehe!

...and one more pose...

And....another! LOL! Sorry...Mom's crazy.

I've also got an e-card this morning from Rusty! Thank you so much! It's SOOO cool!

I have to say that we have been lax in sending out our cards...Mom's fault, I say! We have written out the cards, but she haven't put them in the envelopes and stuff! *pouts* I'll make sure she does it by tonight so we can send them out tomorrow....hope it will reach you guys in time for Christmas! Oh, even if you are not part of the Christmas Card Exchange in the DWB, I would love to send you a card! Please do email me at: nottiescottie(at)gmail(dot)com with your mailing address and I'll send you one...=)

***********************************************************************************

A few days ago, I got a really cool email from one of the founders of Give Back America.org asking me to help spread the word about their organization. How very nice of them to think of me, a (relatively) new 'doggie blogger'! Anyways, Give Back America.org is an online charity shopping mall that raises money for local organizations. Consumers visit the site before they shop at major online retailers (Amazon, Ebay, Zappos, etc.), and percentage of each sale goes to the organization of their choice. That is a pretty cool idea to me! You do your shopping, and you get to donate to charity too, at no extra cost...*grins*

There are quite a few charity organizations to choose from, including animal shelters and rescues! Click here to see the list of charities! So, if you are doing a bit of Christmas shopping (or even just everyday shopping), do use Give Back America.org's link to spread a bit of love....*wink*

*************************************************************************************

Coco, my new friend and a TOTALLY ADORABLE Chihuahua, have given me some awards! Thank you so much, Coco! Really appreciate them! *grins*

If you haven't got these awards just yet, please feel free to take one from here...I love passing them on as much as I love receiving them! *wink* Hmm...that got me thinking. Maybe I should create an award to pass on myself! hehe...=P

That's about it from me now...Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who is celebrating it! I am VERY thankful that I found the DWB community and meeting loads of wonderful doggies, kitties and hammies all around the world! Keep being who you are...you all are the BEST! *grins*

Halloween & An Award

Glitter Photos

I don't really celebrate Halloween, but this year I was invited by Asta to go for a Halloween party! I'm still waiting for Aire Ruby to come by, so...I can't wait! *grins*

While waiting, let me show you another award that was passed on to me by the lovely Isis! It's a butterfly! *wink*

Thank you so, SOOOO much Isis! Love this!

I noticed that there are many doggies out there who already have this award, so I would like to leave it here for anyone who hasn't gotten it yet. Please feel free to take it and pass it on to your friends to spread some love and cheer! *grins*

Mom tells me that I have a demo practice to attend tomorrow for the World Animal Day organized by the SPCA. I was chosen along with other students from my obedience school to perform some obedience demo! YAYY! Mom is a bit anxious, coz she knows about me and my sometimes-I-don't-really-listen modes...

I don't know how I'm going to attend that, since I'll be partying away with Asta, Eric and Lacie along with other doggies, kitties and hammies! Maybe I'll just sneak in when I'm needed for the practice...*wink* I'll figure something out...hehe!

Oh look...I think I hear someone coming for me! Better go! Happy Halloween again! *wink*

More Breaking News!

Sorry for delaying yet again another post of Mom's 'travelog', coz I really have some breaking news! Remember Jetty, my one true love? Well, let's just say that her visit to my house those few days were 'fruitful' *wink*....and now, I AM A PROUD DADDY! *grins*

Jetty gave birth to 7 pups yesterday (Yes, I know!)...but sadly one didn't make it, as the labour time was too long. =( Mom was told by Jetty's Mom that two other puppies were very small when they were delivered and are in quite an unstable condition. Please cross your paws for them...I really hope they make it!

Mom says she will go and visit Jetty and the pups later during the weekend, as Jetty is still weak from her delivery (because she was overdue and she had quite a lot of puppies, her delivery was a Caesarean(sp?!) operation). I asked to go too, but Mom said I would have to wait until she's really stable so I can see her...=(

Anyways, just thought I'd break the news...=)

********************************************************************************

On another note, this is also very bad and late of me, but some of my very COOL friends passed on some awards to me!

First off is Mango's award! He got quite a bunch of them at his blog, but he asked me to choose my favourite one, so I chose this! Thanks so much, Mango! You're such a cool buddy!

The next one is a VERY awesome, bling bling award from Thor! Thank you SOOO much, Thor! I've not had an award that shines like this...*grins*

I would also like to pass on the awards to all my friends who visit my blog! Thank you SOOO much. Please feel free to take any of them if you haven't got them already! *wink*

Awards and a farewell

Hi everyone!

I haven't managed to get Mom to upload her travel photos from India just yet...she is way too lazy and still in sort of a 'zombie' mode for some reason. I had quite a good time playing and resting with her during the weekend though. *grins*

Although I don't have anything to post just yet, I do have a bunch of doggies that I would like to thank and acknowledge for their generosity and kindness:

First off, Isis, Siku, Hershey & Kaci passed on this lovely and AWESOME award to me! Thank you SO, SOOO much for this...it is really nice and so cool! I love it to bits....*grins*

This pawsome award comes from Mango, my cute Maltese friend! Thanks so much for naming me one of your best buds! I am really chuffed to be getting this...*grins*

Since there are so many good friends out there, and I have enjoyed reading every single blog, I've decided to leave it here to pass to everyone. You all have been so sweet and nice to me, even when I am so new to this blogging thing! Thank you once again...=)

Snowy, Crystal and their new sister Baby Rose have also given me this wonderful drawing of me when I was a wee pup! It's SOOO cool and I will treasure this for a very long time. Thank you SOOO much!

****************************************************************************************

I have also recently read that Gizmo, Deetz's brother, had crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I know this is way overdue, but I would also like to dedicate this post to Gizmo. Although we have not known each other for a very long time, I have always known that you have been a wonderful brother to Deetz after reading his blog. And even though you asked us not to shed tears for your passing in your post, Mom and I have done so. At the same time, we also smiled a little knowing you can now run free and without pain and can enjoy your life on the other side to the fullest.

Rest in peace, Gizmo, and we will see you again soon.
