I'm Back.....I Think

Sorry I've been missing again....Gramma's Mom crossed the Bridge after the last post I made, so everyone's been really sad as it was quite unexpected =( I've only gotten to know Granny a few times when she came to our house for visits, or when we go back to Seremban for celebrations. Mom said that Granny is always around with a smile to greet everyone, and never forgets a grandchild or great-grandchild's name...I think she is VERY fortunate to have known her great-grandchildren. Not many people live long enough to do that...=) She certainly is one lovely Granny...

I told Mom that although it's goodbye for now, we will see her again later, and she is definitely in a much better place where there are no sicknesses and pain. Farewell, Granny...you are dearly missed.

****************************************************************************

Well, there's not much to update from me as of now. I hope I can come by to comment on your bloggies real soon...I've missed reading up on all your stories and adventures and walkies and lots and lots of things! I DID get a fur-cut from the groomers last week though...so, here's what I look like now:

Smiling for the camera....=) Mom says I don't look as 'manly' as I used to. What's that supposed to mean?

Aunty Vivian said that I look like a Poodle now...LOL! Do I?

Probably doesn't really matter, since my fur grows out real fast, and it's REALLY hot these days, so I am very grateful for cooling, not-so-long fur!

Oops! That's Kenji trying to ham up the camera too...everyone's gushing over his now soft fur! All thanks to a raw diet (woohoo!) and some good supplements for the coat and skin...*wink*

But still...this is about my fur-cut, so one last photo of me...hehe! I like to think I look a little 'cleaner' now too. Not that I'm dirty most of the time, but the beard just likes to get in the way when I'm drinking or eating, and Mom always complains that my beard is too brown instead of white, so this is a win-win situation no?

*********************************************************************************

Mom also went to her friend's house last week for some yummy food....it's called Nasi Lemak, and from what I was told, it was EXTRA yummy! *drools* Too bad she didn't bring back some for me...*sigh*

Mom's friend is also a dog rescuer too...while Mom was there, she took some photos of the dogs at the house. Actually, she took more than these, but the rest turned out so blurry she was embarrassed to put it here. LOL! So, here are the nicer ones:

A little Yorkshire Terrier that was nicknamed '2 Kilo' coz she weighed 2kg...hehe! Mom kept gushing about her the whole time she was there, I almost thought she wanted to adopt her...LOL! But look at the face...I think most people would have done the same too...*wink*

'2 Kilo' looking to get some yummy treats....

This is Meow Meow...the doggie who 'escaped' from the pool during the doggie pool gathering! *grins*

This is Zaccheus (Zack for short), the Wiry Jack Russell Terrier who's boarding there...Mom loves his affable nature!

This is Lena-Joy, Zack's sister...she's a real cutie-pie too!

Mom forgot the name of this doggie here, but Mom said that she is SOOOO shy because it was her first time being boarded there with so many doggies that already know each other well...she keeps to one corner, but after a while, she started walking about too. =)

Yup, that's all from me for now...I'm keeping my paws crossed that I can come by real soon to catch up with you all! Till then..

xoxo,
Scottie

Oh yes, have been missing you. You still look great after your "haircut". My mummy has been doing that since she has got a new clipper. I don't mind too since the weather is real hot these days.

Hi Scottie - we've missed you! Sorry to hear about your grammy's mum but you're so right, how lovely that she knew her great grandchildren.

You look very cute - we felt quite scruffy just reading the bit about your grooming! We think you look quite dapper - a monocle and a top hat would not go amiss, he he he, very swish!

We'd love to meet all those doggies. We hope they find great forever homes.

Scotty,

So sorry to hear about your Great Grandma crossing the human bridge. It's so wonderful that you got to know her and had so many nice things to say about her. I bet she was a really nice lady. Your new fur cut is very GQ! You don't look like a poodle!!! Ziggy got a summer cut too and he's so happy cause he gets tooooooo hot! It's always nice to see pictures of my fellow chihuahua, Kenji. No offense Scotty but Kenji is sure one handsome boy! My mom has to look up where Seremban is because she's never heard of it before.

Scotty,
I'm so sorry to hear about your Grandma's Mom passing. She is sure now living in heaven, pain free, sorrow free, goodbye, Great-Grandma!
2 kilo is so adorable, if we lived there, we would have adopted him!
You look nice with your new hair cut, Kenji is cute and cuter everyday, his eyes sparkling as if he wants to tell us some top secrets!
You and I are in the same boat, man, my beard is brown which my mom is not very thrill about it.
Well, it doesn't make us less handsome, Scottie!

Hi, Scottie -

We are sooooooo sorry to hear about your great Grandma.

We love your haircut - of course we are schnauzers but you do NOT look like a poodle. Did you know that schnauzers are called dirty faced dogs? Kaci and I have brown in our "stash" too it just depends on what the picture looks like.

We hope all of the rescue dogs find loving homes. Mama keeps telling me that I (Hershey) am one of the lucky dogs.

Love -

Hershey and Kaci

So sorry to read about your Granny. I know it is hard to lose someone you love, even if it is only for a while.

I like your cut! I know it must be cooler and that is sort of the type of cut a lot of dogs are getting around here now that summer is here.

You have a lot of cute friends at your Mom's friend's place. We have a foster Corgi staying with us right now. There are several pics of him in our latest blogs, but your Mom may not be in the mood to look for awhile, so we understand. The Country Corgi Crew
