A Much Needed (But Not Liked) Furcut & New Tags!!

Hi everyone!

So sorry again for the slack in posting and visiting. Mom is in the midst of looking for a new working place, so she said she will be a bit busy. Thank goodness she had time about now to help me with this! I have loads to post, but I will start with the most recent update. *grins* Mom sent me to the groomers the other day...and when she got back from work, she wasn't too pleased with me. Why?

This is what I looked like before: all curly mops and unkempt face;

And THIS is what I look like now! Mom wailed when she saw that my beard is almost all gone! I guess she forgot to mention to the groomers to just trim it a little and not lob it all off...heh! She now claims that I looked like a 'mutt with a moustache'...pfft! Whatever Mom! I just like the fact that I'm all set for the hot weather we've been getting these days...*grins*

Another thing that I'm very excited about is that both Kenji and I got some AMAZING new ID tags! Aunty Yen has just launched a brand new collection of tags at furrenz.com, and they are just SUPER AMAZING! Check this out:

This is mine! It's an elegant blue colored barrel shaped tag, engraved with my name and two paws! *grins* Mom said the tag is made from anodized aluminum, so it's super light! The kettle on top is a little 'charm' thing that Mom got for me, something akin to humans' charm bracelets...I don't know what it symbolises, but Mom said it looked cute with the barrel.

And at the back, she engraved her phone number and some nice roses too!

Kenji wasn't too stoked that my tag is nicer than his...hehehe! But then, his tag is cool too!

This is what the front looks like...a cool paw shape that's small and light enough for his small frame! Oh, and it's red too...it so matches his red collar!

And this is what was engraved behind! Notice the little teddy bear beside his name? Just goes to show he's a softie at heart...*wink*

If you're from Malaysia, and you'd like to order a tag just like ours, go HERE to visit the website and check out the super cool range of tags available! But wait, Mom said there is a surprise in store for all my friends too! We will be hosting a GIVEAWAY of not one, but TWO of these great tags, and it's going to be open to my friends from all over the world! YAYY! Mom is still working on the kinks of the giveaway, so I will post up how you can get your paws on a free ID tag in my next post! Stay tuned!!! *grins*

*Sigh* The Things I Put Up With!

Okay, here's the thing...Mom has this tendency to see amazing videos of doggies and what they can do, and she often wants to try it out...with me! >.<" Most of the time, it didn't work (hehehehe!), but sometimes it does, because I'm a huge sucker for treats. LOL! Mom saw this video quite a LOOONGGG time ago on Facebook, and she was SUPER impressed with what these pets can do. She didn't understand a single word from the video, but it's so easy to just know what they're doing...watch it and you'll know what I mean:

SUPER AMAZING RIGHT???!! I don't know how those doggies did it, especially the second doggie! The chimpanzee was even more cute (according to Mom!) After a while, she forgot about it....until a couple of days ago. Out of sheer boredom, she just remembered about the video, and hence was 'inspired' (in a twisted, sadistic way I might add!!) to do:

This!! Gah! She didn't have the nice biscuit bones or the long yummy bacon treats that the people in the video had, so she took the nearest treat that had a big amount in the packet. I felt a little proud knowing that I could 'resist' those treats, but oh no! It's just the beginning...

She NEXT added more treats on top!! >.<" Initially wanting to put even more on, she couldn't due to my small schnozzle, and so . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . *Sighhhhhh* We STILL were nowhere NEAR any of the number of treats that got put on though (Can you guess the number? I think you can...it's so easy to count them. LOLL!) because..

I dropped them all and wouldn't stand for it! Take that you torturing treats! NOM NOM NOM!

Kenji helped me in destroying those torture devices too...heh!

And me ish a more happy dog with them treats firmly where they should be: my belly! *grins*

Total LOL Moment!

Mom saw this at a pet grooming website, and she thought it was so hilarious (and true at the same time!) that she thought we should share this with everyone. *grins* Enjoy:

Why does my Pet's Haircut cost more than mine?

The Top 10 Reasons:

10. Your hairdresser doesn't wash and clean your bottom.
9. You don't go for four weeks without washing or brushing your hair.
8. Your hairdresser doesn't throw in a free Brazilian!
7. Your hairdresser doesn't clean out your ears.
6. Your hairdresser doesn't have to clean boogies from your eyes.
5. You sit still for your hairdresser.
4. Your haircut doesn't include a manicure or pedicure.
3. Your hairdresser only washes and cuts the hair on your head.
2. You don't bite or scratch your hairdresser.

And

.
.
.
.

The number 1 reason your pet's haircut costs more than yours:
1. The likelihood of you pooing or weeing while your hair is being cut is fairly slim!

Gifts from JD & Max!

Oh man...I didn't notice it was already March! >.<" Sorry for posting this super SUPER late, but as the cliched saying goes, "Better late than never", right? *wink* Let's dive straight into the PAWSOME gifts that I got from JD, Max and their humans, Neil & Clare!

The HUMONGOUS stash of gifts! Aren't they super?!

The first thing that I grabbed was the squeaky rattlesnake toy...*grins* I love the rattling sound that it makes when I squeeze it!

Mom absolutely HEARTS this lovely cushion, but I claimed it first! Here's what I thought of Mom when she tried to coax me into giving it up...

See? It CLEARLY states in Rule No. 1 that if I like it, it's MINE! Mwahahahahaha!

And here's how I claim my pillow...VERY soft and nice! *grins*

Look at the pretty ornament and magnet! I think I DEFINITELY got Mom wrapped up around my wee paws...heh!

Mom also got some really nice notebooks and bookmarks! She loves to read, and now she has a cute puppy dog looking out at her when she flips to continue the page. *grins*

Oops...Kenji got a little bored. Heh! But no worries, I shared with him the chew bone that JD & Max sent! It finished before we knew it...*licks lips*

Close up on the toffees that Mom got! They were super scrumptious according to Mom! She adores this cute mailbox can...I think she wants to make it into a coinbox when the toffees are gone. LOL!

There's also a LONG train container full of toffees too! Mom loved the rum and butter flavored toffee from it *grins* Ooh, Mom asked me to mention the Whisky Cake too...she forgot to take a photo of it, but it was SUPER yummy! I didn't get a taste of it, but Mom said it was SOOO good, she polished off even the crumbs...LOL! (Mom: I did share it with my family...Scottie likes to make me into such a glutton. Tsk tsk tsk!)

Here's the pretty card that I got from JD & Max! The 5 doggies are super cute, and I just love the last doggie on the right who turned back and look...*wink*

I wish I could have met you guys too! I'm hoping that one day, we'd all be able to meet in pawson without having to go through the 'quarantine' thingy and get to play like tomorrow never comes!

There's also this VERY COOL gadget that we got! It's a little fan that you can program messages into it! So, our first message on it says: THANKS JD & MAX! We so very appreciate the lovely things sent to us...we're hoping you'll find our little gifts appropriate too! *grins*
